KEM Cup
Sa tinagal-tagal kong naging Ching-ching Paua Head, hanggang ngayon, hindi ko pa rin ma-estimate kung gaano ka-competitive ang mga KEMers.
--> At times, pwede silang maging sobrang aggresive, hindi mo alam, nagsisigawan na pala kayo debating about something.
--> At times pwede silang maging sobrang pabaya at walang pakialam sa mga nangyayari.
--> At times pwede silang parang enjoy-enjoy lang, yung come what may na style, kung manalo, ok lang, kung matalo, ok lang din.
--> At times pwede silang maging mareklamo, pero kapag nandyan naman yung game, hindi nila makitaan ng technicalities, at kapag natapos na yung game, at saka sila magrerelease ng emotions.
Kung ako ang tatanungin, hindi importante na maramdaman nila ang "Spirit of Ching-ching Paua", kasi minsan pakiramdam ko, hindi yun magmamatter, pagdating ng araw na yun, hindi naman nila dapat harapin ang dirty works, kasi kami din naman ang gagawa nun, kung sakali man, meron din namang tinetrain to learn those things. What really matter is that the members love what they are doing, having fun while doing what they want to do, and giving their best shot at it.
I hope we won't forget the things we learned from our application process. I hope we won't neglect the smallest, minute details of the values that we have learned from our experiences as KEM applicants. These are the very foundation of our complex nature, these are the things that makes us different from others. These are the things that bind us together as an organization, as EC-mates, as co-memcommers, as co-members, and as applicants.
WE ARE HOLDING KEM CUP FOR US TO ENJOY A WEEK OF FUN GAMES AND PRACTICING SPORTSMANSHIP. KEM CUP IS NOT CHING-CHING PAUA, THIS SHOULD BE FUN. WE ARE NOT RED AND BLACK OR GREEN AND WHITE. WE ARE BLUE AND YELLOW, KNOWN FOR OUR SPORTSMANSHIP, TALENT, SKILLS AND UNITY. LET US DO OUR BEST IN EVERY GAME THAT WE PLAY. LET US APPLY WHAT WE HAVE LEARNED AND BRING OUT THE BLUE AND YELLOW IN US.
CHEERFUL LOSERS AND HUMBLE WINNERS.
I posted this entry because I love UP KEM and all of its members and I want them to realize something. I hope sa mga makakabasa nito, malaman nyo kung ano ang tinutukoy ko. KEM application is such a wonderful gift to those who made it through, let us not forget the lessons that we have learned from these wondrous experiences -- Talent Show, HAM 1, HAM 2, Interview, Tambay, Sigsheet, Consti Quiz and BPP.

/nope. hindi naman. just want the KEMers to know the real purpose of KEM Cup. I fear it's true meaning is starting to be forgotten so I just want to express what I feel. KEM Cup and Ham 2 are not just Ching-ching Paua screening system, they are originally created for us to learn and teach -- to practice sportsmanchip, applicant-member-alumni bonding, and learn how to have FUN -- the KEM way.
